March is the month of expectations.
And lately, opportunities at the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services have been blooming like yellow jasmines in
the Carolina spring.
The renaissance has blossomed especially plentiful in Greenwood County, where the DPPPS office has had an influx of new hires. During the past two weeks, the Greenwood County Probation and Parole bureau added three officers, including a new leader.

Richie Williams became the county's agent-in-charge earlier this month, taking the helm of directing the office's operations and leading a staff of five other agents.
"Greenwood County is a great place to live and work," Williams said through an agency press release. "I'm thankful for the opportunity to serve our county and state in this capacity. I am also thankful to be part of an experienced and dedicated staff that works hard every day to promote our agency and the positive work we do. "
