McCORMICK — You can't win a war without winning a few battles along the way.
Keynote speaker Heather Simmons Jones took her message of incremental goals, unity of purpose and positivity to the chamber Thursday.
"Everybody wants to know, 'When are we getting that huge 1,000-person industry and the big ribbon cutting," Simmons Jones said. "But that's the long-term goal."
In the meantime, Simmons Jones said McCormick should focus on intermediate goals of promoting tourism, quality of life, recreational opportunities and the Savannah Lakes Village.
But even more immediate were goals of getting everyone on the same page for resource allocation and product development.
