ABBEVILLE — The name of assistant superintendent Betty Jo Hall could soon appear on the list of possible superintendent candidates for the Abbeville County School District, if the school community has anything to say about it, that is.
Wright Middle School social studies teacher George Jordan implored the school board to consider Hall in its search for the new superintendent to replace interim superintendent Sharon Wall during the public participation section of the board of trustees meeting Tuesday evening.

Jordan stressed the necessity of hiring a superintendent who understands the particular demographics of the district and its subsequent needs, and stated that Hall would be a great candidate as she worked side by side with former superintendent Ivan Randolph
Wall came in on July 1, 2013, following the retirement of Randolph last year.
