Greenwood CPW has long been known for its fiscal stability and clarity in financial reporting.
On Thursday, the organization was once again honored for its work in that area.
During Thursday’s CPW board meeting, board members were informed the organization received the Government Finance Officers Association’s Certificate for Achievement in Financial Reporting.


According to CPW manager Steve Reeves, this marks the 19th consecutive year CPW received the certificate.
In other business Thursday, the CPW board — Henry Watts, Art Bush and Mike Monaghan — voted to extend CPW’s natural gas system to the northwest.
