Greenwood School District 50’s Mentoring for Success program continues to reach out to help at-risk students.
On Friday, there will be a benefit golf tournament to help bolster that program.
The annual Mentoring for Success Tee Off for the Kids golf tournament will be Friday at The Links at Stoney Point.

The tournament, which begins at 8:30 a.m., will feature four-person teams playing in a captain’s choice format. Team entry fee is $300, and individual entry fee is $75. Fee includes lunch, range balls, green fees and cart.
Mentoring for Success is a program that focuses primarily on minority male middle school students. It is designed to bridge the gap in academic and social development. In the program, adult male volunteers meet with the students regularly to provide motivation and guidance for the students, in school and in life.
