A Greenwood man was arrested Tuesday after two children tested positive for marijuana in their systems.
Angel Guzman, 27, of 101 Barley Drive, was charged with unlawful conduct toward a child in connection with the incident.
According to a Greenwood County incident report, a DSS case worker advised an agent from Greenwood County's Drug Enforcement Unit of the findings Tuesday.
The DSS worker said she received complaints about the suspect and a woman smoking marijuana at their home on Barley Drive in the presence of their respective children.
The case worker's report showed the suspect's daughter is 3 years old and the woman's daughter is 1. The report indicated the suspect admitted to using the drug.
DSS workers used hair samples to drug test the two parents and their children Aug. 19. The test indicated all four tested positive for marijuana, with the suspect showing a level of 3.74 picograms per milligram of the drug in his system, and his daughter showing 0.11 pg/mg. Records did not show the woman had yet been charged in connection with the incident as of Wednesday morning. Tests showed she had a level of 7.61 pg/mg in her system. Her daughter showed 0.31 pg/mg of the drug.
