Greenwood Police have arrested a man in connection with a May shooting incident.
Officers arrested Randy Lamont Gilliam, 33, of 207 Holloway, Greenwood, and charged him with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.
According to reports, officers responded about 1 a.m. May 10 to Glenhaven Circle in reference to a shooting. Officers met with the victim, who was pacing back and forth and saying he had been shot.
Greenwood County EMS took the man to the hospital. Officers found four bullet shell casings lying on Glenhaven Circle.
The report said officers spoke with several witnesses, at least two of whom said they saw a gray or silver car drive by the incident location, with shots being fired from the car.

One witness told officers a small silver car pulled through the top of Glenhaven and, as it passed by the location, a man in a light shirt leaned out of the window and started shooting.
Officers went to the hospital and met with the victim, who had a single gunshot wound to the right side of his chest.
The victim said he was standing at the incident location when a car came by. The victim said, when the car passed by, he heard at least four gunshots. The victim said he didn't know he had been shot until he felt his chest burning.
