A Greenwood County narcotics team arrested a man Thursday after finding more than 260 grams of pot in his Greenwood home.
Tyrus Theodore, 24, of 214 Walker Ave., Greenwood, was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana in connection with the incident.
Armed with a search warrant, officers from the county Drug Enforcement Unit raided the suspect's home a few blocks southeast of Reynolds Avenue about 9:30 p.m. Thursday.According to a city police report:
DEU agents found a digital scale and 21.3 grams of a substance thought to be marijuana in the suspect's pants pockets. Inside the home, officers found four clear plastic bags containing 57 grams of the suspected drug, and another bag with 7.6 grams. Officers also found $190 in cash on the suspect and another bag with a few grams of the substance. Agents recovered 259 grams of suspected pot in total during the bust. A second suspect - Angel Guzman, 27, of 405 Greene St., Greenwood - was also cited during the raid after officers found a small quantity of suspected marijuana on him.
