The Greenwood Police Department made an arrest in a March armed robbery at a Hispanic convenience store.
James Graham, 21, of 514 Taggart St., Greenwood, was charged with armed robbery in connection with the incident.
The robbery took place at the store along Chipley Avenue about 9:15 p.m. March 25. According to a Greenwood police report:
Two female store employees in the store during the stickup said two masked gunmen approached them in the parking lot as they were closing the shop for the evening. The two suspects pointed their guns at the women and demanded money.
The suspects grabbed a bucket filled with cash from one of the women, and the men fled east into a wood line. The robbers also stole one of the victim's wallets, which contained an iPhone. Police recovered the phone and pocketbook in the road a few blocks from the scene.
