Roger Lee Noss, 78, resident of Greenwood, husband of Margie Basler Noss, died November 29, 2013 at Hospice House. 
Born in Aberdeen, SD, October 26, 1935, he was the son of the late Chester and Gertrude Buss Noss. He was a graduate of South Dakota School of Mines and Technology where he received his degree in Civil Engineering. Roger was formally employed by Grede Foundry in Greenwood for over 25 years and retired as Chief Industrial Engineer from Golden Casting in Columbus, IN. 
A member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and a former member of the church choir, Roger was also a member of Council of Lakelands Wood Workers (CLAW), Golden K Kiwanis, the Omega Chapter of the Theta Tau Fraternity and the Star Fort Golf Club. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and received great pleasure from his wood work. 
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home is a daughter, Linda Jo Noss, of the home and a special family friend, Dawn Baxley, also of the home; a sister, Rochelle N. Piscotty of Livermore, CA; a cousin, Guyla Sturgeon of Rapid City, SD; and numerous other cousins also in South Dakota. 
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. Barrett Alewine and Rev. Ryan Spurrier officiating.
Burial will be in Oakbrook Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be members of CLAW and the Golden K Club.
The body is at Blyth Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The family is at the home and will receive friends in the church social hall from 1 to 2 Tuesday afternoon.
