On Thursday night at Piedmont Tech, residents did a little bit of both.
Hundreds of businesspeople, city and county officials and others gathered at PTC for the Greenwood Chamber's fifth Super Networking Night. The annual event has grown into one of Greenwood's stops for professionals looking to connect and mingle in a festive atmosphere.
More than 95 different entities had booths at Thursday night's event, representing a wide variety of professions. There were salons, financial institutions, retail businesses, media companies, cellphone providers and many other types of companies in attendance.
There were also 11 different restaurants and catering companies at the event, each of which were providing food and beverages to those in attendance.
Thursday's Super Networking Night had a superhero theme, with many businesspeople and residents donning superhero paraphernalia as part of the celebration.
