Authorities arrested a third man for autobreaking Wednesday.
Donkevis Jones, 24, of 215 W. Duncan Ave., Greenwood, was charged with breaking into a motor vehicle and petit larceny in connection with the incident.
According to a Greenwood County Sheriff's Office report, the victim reported the alleged theft Dec. 30, telling officers someone stole a Garmin GPS, an iPod player and two XM radios from her unlocked car while it was parked overnight in her driveway along Sunset Drive.
The incident took place around the time of a two-week span of break-ins that plagued the county during the weeks leading up to Christmas. Officers arrested at least seven suspects and said they issued more than 80 warrants in connection with the incidents.
Jones was implicated through that investigation. Investigators on Jan. 3 questioned someone in reference to the holiday break-ins, reports showed. The person took officers to several areas in the county, including Sunset Drive, pointing out who broke into which vehicles and the items they stole.
