Three freighthopping hobos were arrested Sunday afternoon after being found on a train in Greenwood.
Mark Mason, 30, of Tucson, Ariz., Nicholas Morales, 21, of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Sebastin Copianco, of Greenwood, were all charged with trespassing upon railroad tracks in connection with the incident.
Deputies were called out to respond to suspicious activity after someone spotted the three men dancing on a CSX Railroad freight train. According to a Greenwood County incident report:
Officers arrived to Burnett Road and saw the Brooklyn suspect come out the door of the train dressed in nothing but a pair of boxer briefs. Officers ordered the three men off of the train, and the Greenwood suspect was also wearing nothing but his boxers.
Deputies asked the men what they were doing on the train, and they told officers they travel all across the United States by jumping on trains.
