A Greenwood County man was arrested after narcotics agents found an amount of suspected marijuana during a traffic stop in south Greenwood Wednesday afternoon.
Tyrone Moss, 37, of 5010 Callison Highway, Troy, was charged with conspiracy to distribute marijuana in connection with the incident.
Agents from the county's Drug Enforcement task force stopped a vehicle the suspect was driving after it failed to completely stop at a stop sign along Phoenix Street. According to a Greenwood police report:
Officers then searched the vehicle and found several items inside a brown leather bag in the vehicle's glove compartment, including 20.8 grams of a substance believed to be marijuana. When asked about it, the suspect told officers it was his personal supply of the drug and said it was worth about $300.
