Two women were arrested after investigators say they were accomplices to a shooting late last month near a north Greenwood car wash.
Sherry Neeley, 18, of 2220 Montague Ave. Extension, Greenwood, was charged with accessory after the fact to a felony in connection with the incident. She was arrested Friday afternoon. Kristy Coleman, 27, of 2119 County Line Road, Bradley, was taken into custody early Thursday morning and charged with accessory after the fact to a felony and possession of a stolen pistol.
The women became the third and fourth suspects arrested in conjunction with a shooting about 12:30 a.m. Aug. 25 at Dazzle Car Wash, 108 Furman Burton Road, near the Bi-Lo shopping mart. Stephen Neeley II, 28, was arrested Aug. 26 and Michael Rousey, 34, of 209 Greenwood, was booked Sept. 3. Both men face numerous charges, including attempted murder and possession of a weapon during violent crime.
According to a Greenwood County incident report, the suspects met two men at the car wash the morning of the incident and attempted to rob the victims. One shot was fired during the incident, and one of the victims was shot in the left arm.

Officials at the Greenwood County Sheriff's Office said both female suspects were riding in the car with the men at the time of the shooting and assisted them in disposing of the evidence.
Investigators found a spent Federal .40-caliber Smith and Wesson shell casing and a metal bullet jacket lying near the washing bay of the car wash. GCSO officials said the women sold the weapon, a .40-caliber Smith & Wesson, believed to have been used in the Aug. 25 shooting.
