BRADLEY — Charles "Charlie" Fuller, Sr., 62, of 700 New Zion Road, husband of Vernel Gray Fuller, died on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at his home. Born in Callison, SC, he was the son of the late John Lewis Fuller and the late Edith Coates Lites. He was a former machine operator at the former Moore's Business Forms. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, where he was a member of the All Male Choir, the Mass Choir, Mt. Moriah Brotherhood and the Men's Adult Sunday School Class. He was also a member of the Harmony Lodge #37, a graduate of Brewer High School Class of 1970 and served in the US Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Samuel David Lites, a sister, Mattie Mae Fuller Fisher and a brother, Lewis Fuller.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of the home; three sons, Ferric M. Fuller, Keto Fuller and Charles Fuller, II, all of Greenwood; one daughter, Brandy N. Fuller of Greenwood; one sister, Elizabeth Ann Fuller of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; four sister-in-laws, Lillie Ann Parker, Mary Adams and Mavis Laymon, all of Greenwood and Mamie Parker of Philadelphia; one brother-in-law, Wilbert Gray of Hodges and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Services are 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Raymond Adams. The body will be placed in the church at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in The Evening Star Cemetery. The family is at the home of a son, Keto Fuller, 504 Marshall Road. Online condolences may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
