CALHOUN FALLS — Jackie Russell Timms, 65, of Calhoun Falls, SC, died April 2, 2014 at the VA Hospital in Augusta, GA.
He was born February 18, 1949 in Abbeville County, SC to the late John Samuel Timms and Frances Pauline Wideman Timms. He was a graduate of Calhoun Falls High School and a carpenter.  He was a US Army Vietnam War Veteran. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Carlisle.
Surviving are a son, Kelly Gillam of Calhoun Falls; daughter, Chrystal "Christie" Goldman of Surfside Beach, SC; brothers, Sammy Timms, Harold Carlisle (Belinda) all of Calhoun Falls, Henry Carlisle of Greenwood, SC, Otis Carlisle of Easley, SC; sisters, Rebekah Conant (Scott) of Fort Mill, SC, Sonya Rhodes (Don) of Greenwood, SC; sister-in-law, Martha Carlisle; grandchildren, Cody Goldman, Rishon Gillman; great-grandchild, Tyonna Gillman and a great-great-grandaughter, Anastasia Gillman.
A graveside service with full military rites will be held at 3 p.m.
Tuesday at the M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC. Rev. Clint Carter will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at Fletcher Funeral and Cremation Service, Calhoun Falls.
