Kids they have to have private transportation from kindergarten to full adult. All my siblings and I had our legs to take us from home to the schoolhouse a mile away. My wife and I consider ourselves members of the Lander family. My wife was on the nursing faculty for 17 years and I have taught in the Business School when I have been asked to help out. We are Docents at the university and support the G-LPA program as season ticket holders and as donors. We also financially contribute to the university.

I do not know Sam Montgomery except by reputation.
I don’t know why the state trooper who stopped him for doing 89 mph in a 55-mph speed zone on Highway 72 was suspended, but Montgomery should have been arrested and jailed. That’s like doing 100-plus on Highway 26.

The election of a new state superintendent of education this year presents a great opportunity to ensure we have a leader who champions better public schools and a brighter future for our students and our state.

I just returned from bringing my grandson, Andrew Lorick, back from a week at Palmetto Boys State. This was my first contact with this great program.

How refreshing it was to read about a Democrat candidate who states her true intentions if she gets to Washington.
