Wei-Ling Hsu surprised herself Saturday at the Self Regional Healthcare Foundation Women’s Health Classic.
Hsu began the third round at 4 under, tied for second with Marta Silva. Hsu made two birdies and two bogeys in shooting even par to finish the day at 4-under.

Except after Saturday’s third round, Hsu was sitting alone in first place.
The Chinese Taipei resident’s even-keeled round gave her the lead after third-round leader Joanna Klatten shot 4-over and Silva shot a 2-over.
“When I saw my 4-under on the top, I was surprised,” Hsu said. “Yesterday it was 6-under. It’s probably because today’s pins were really hard. I just kept my score at even par, so I’m really surprised I’m on top.
