Lander University men's basketball coach Jeff Burkhamer picked Florida as his choice early in the season to win the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament.
He has a good chance of being correct with his selection. Florida, faces Connecticut in one Final Four semifinal game today, while Kentucky meets Wisconsin in the other. Florida-Connecticut starts at 6:09 followed by Kentucky-Wisconsin at about 9:49 on TBS/TNT/TruTV. The winners face each other at 9:10. Monday on CBS in the national championship game.

"It's an interesting group, just because a couple of teams are playing well late and playing well at the right time," Burkhamer said. "I have Florida picked. I have all year. They've been steady."
Burkhamer, whose overall coaching record is 328-157, has attended more than 20 Final Fours in his 30 years of coaching. He became Lander's fourth men's basketball coach in 2009.
He won't be in AT&T Stadium in North Texas today or Monday. Instead, he will be with his wife, Diane, and daughters Melissa and Lindsey watching the games on TV.
