Emerald High School’s Gage Cervenka verbally committed to play football at Clemson University on Tuesday.
And, he did so in Tigers coach Dabo Swinney’s office.
“I just wanted to do something to commit differently other than by just saying I want to play football there,” Cervenka said. “I wanted it to mean something to me, and to coach Swinney.”
Cervenka is the second Lakelands football star during the past four days to commit to Clemson.
On Saturday, Greenwood star Kaleb Chalmers tweeted he intends to sign a football scholarship with Clemson.
