For the last several weeks, every game has been paramount for the Erskine College baseball team. Sitting in seventh place in the region, the Fleet need as many wins as they can count to try to squeeze into the top 6 to qualify for regionals.
Erskine picked up three big wins this weekend in its final Conference Carolinas series of the year.

After beating Limestone 5-3 Friday to open the series, Erskine won both games of a doubleheader on a rainy Saturday to sweep the Saints.
“Now, it’s every game,” Erskine coach Kevin Nichols said. “Thirty-two and 11, that’s a really good record, but there’s a lot of really good teams in our region. Right now, we’re sitting in seventh. Only six go. You try to handle your own business and hope it all works out.”
The Fleet’s arms led them to the doubleheader sweep Saturday.
