In the first two rounds of the playoffs, the Emerald High School boys basketball overcame two second-half deficits to stay alive in the Class AAA tournament.
There was no comeback for the Vikings in the third round Wednesday.

A.C. Flora closed the third quarter on a 13-0 lead to take control en route to eliminating Emerald with a 68-48 win.
"This is the first time this school has been to this point since 1986," Flora coach Leo Brunson said. "I'm elated for these kids. Those kids, the juniors have been with me since they were freshmen. The seniors have been in the program since they were freshmen. Man, I'm so proud of those kids.
"I'm just proud of the kids. You don't know. They work so hard."
