With his good ol' boy doggie humor and flirtatious grin, 52-pound Hunter is the life of every party. One look and it’s easy to see why the ladies swoon over his steel gray coat, hazel eyes, and gentle kisses. As for the guys, they all want to be his best bud, admiring his athleticism, trim physique, and jokester personality. He is the guy who everyone wants for their best friend. ​Get ready for the good times, because there’s no bigger ball of furry feline fun than Patrón. This pewter-colored, 4-month-old is full of comedic acts, whether it’s practicing his professional toy juggling skills, vying for your affection with his sweet, soft purr, or tapping his little paw on your shoulder to say, “Hey, let’s play!” The laughs will abound with Patrón around and there’s no need to worry about the fun coming to an end.

The adoption fees are free for both of these pets through Sept. 17, 2016.

The Greenwood County Animal Shelter is located behind the Civic Center and is open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Adoption fees are $85 for dogs; $15 for adult cats and $50 for kittens 1 year and younger. Fees include all vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipping.
