Connie Maxwell Children’s Home will host guided walking tours beginning every 10 minutes starting at 6 p.m., with the last tour at 8:50 p.m. March 17-18. Tours will last about 60 minutes and attendees should be able to walk 1 mile. Guests will watch six re-enactments, which showcase aspects of treasured history and visit two of the six stops in a horse-drawn carriage.
Event parking will be off Maxwell Avenue in the large field in front of Connie Maxwell Baptist Church, 810 Maxwell Ave.
Parking signs and attendants will be onsite.

Connie Maxwell Children’s home was founded by the South Carolina Baptist Convention in 1892. This year the home celebrates their historic milestone of 125 years of ministry.
