Winston Dennis Hill Jr., 32, of 102 Singletree Road, Greenwood, was charged Thursday with two counts each of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a prohibited person, possession with intent to distribute controlled substances including cocaine, cocaine base and marijuana, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Hill could face a minimum sentence of five years in prison, with a maximum sentence of life in prison and a $1 million fine.

Greenwood Police Department and the FBI investigated the case and Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeanne Howard is prosecuting the case.
